Artwork Questions

AblePromotional.com will not require you to upload fonts and logos for you to piece together artwork on your computer screen. Our highly skilled graphic artists will send you an artwork proof using their talented eye and industry knowledge to make your artwork look best on the promotional products. All you need to do is simply provide the text and logos for us to create your artwork. Any instructions or preferences from you are warmly appreciated.

What if I don’t have readily available artwork?

If you don't have any artwork, that is not a problem. Please just send us what you can and we will work with it to the best of our ability. Your description of what you are envisioning is often all we need. Artwork charges can sometimes apply for artwork that needs to be re-created. We will inform you of this, before we start any job.

The types of files that we prefer are vector file types that include .eps, .ai, .cdr or .pdf. Bitmap files such as .jpeg, and .bmp are not preferred type of electronic artwork files as they are of a low resolution. If this is all you have, please send this anyway, as sometimes we can work with this. The original graphic design company that created your logo should still have your logo on file and could email that to us.

As a last resort, you can scan and fax your artwork to us at 250-753-4406.

One last thing to remember is that artwork should never be a roadblock to a great promotion. We will work with you until we get is just right. If we have to recreate your artwork we will save it on file for you. All of our production orders are saved on file for a minimum of three years, and can be retrieved for future orders.

What if I want to match a specific color or font?

Most of our decoration methods for our promotional products here in Canada can be matched closely to any colour that you would like. Customers who would like specific colour matching need to provide us with "PMS" colour numbers. PMS stands for Pantone Matching System ®. There is often an extra charge for PMS colour matching. Keep in mind that all screen moniters are different from each other and the colour that you see on the screen will be different from the colour you see on the product. We also have thousands of fonts on file. Just let us know which one you would like us to use for the word copy.

What graphic file type should I send you?

Please send us via email to sales@ablepromotional.com electronic files in either PC or Mac format. Acceptable files are those that are vector based and include Adobe Illustrator CS .ai, CorelDRAW .cdr, .eps and .pdf files. All text needs to be converted to outline.

These files are premium artwork files and secure the best possible output on the promotional products.

Artwork with Text

Please send us all artwork with text converted to outlines or curves. Also note that the smallest text size is usually around 6 pts, and for embroidery about 3/16" of an inch. Font styles can vary this minimum size.

Please keep in mind that setting up artwork may be a little bit time consuming, but once we have it just right, we keep the artwork on file and is there for you to use as you need it for years to come.

Where do I send my art?

Please send your artwork directly to sales@ablepromotional.com. Include your name, company name, telephone number and any other pertinent information.
